How it works, what you get, limits
What it does
Shrink scans so they pass mail or form size caps.
How to use
Pick a PDF, set JPEG quality. Each page is drawn then compressed; vector text becomes an image.
What you get
A smaller PDF. Scans usually fare better than born-digital text. Not lossless-and-tiny.
Options and comparison
JPEG quality per page render.
Text-heavy PDFs may look softer. Check the preview.
Limits
Vector type will rasterize and may blur. Encrypted files fail.
FAQ
What happens to text PDFs?
Each page is drawn then compressed, so vector type becomes an image and may blur. Scans fit this page better.
Lossless and tiny?
No. Check the preview for the size/quality tradeoff.
